Memphis Art Museum is located at 55 S. Front Street in the heart of Downtown Memphis at Union Avenue, next to Cossitt Library and steps from the Mississippi River. The main visitor entrance is on Front Street. A parking garage is conveniently located beneath the museum on Monroe Avenue.

FROM THE EAST/I-40 WEST
Take I-40 West toward Downtown Memphis. Exit at Riverside Drive (Exit 1). Continue on Riverside Drive until you turn left on Monroe Avenue, then turn right into the entrance of the Memphis Art Museum Parking Garage.
FROM THE SOUTH/1-55 NORTH
Take I-55 North into Memphis. Follow signs toward downtown (I-69/I-240), then take Exit 30 for Union Avenue. Head west on Union for about one mile until it intersects with Front Street.
FROM THE WEST/ARKANSAS I-40 EAST
From West Memphis, take I-40 East across the Hernando de Soto Bridge. At the end of the bridge, take the exit for Front Street, then follow Front Street south to Union Avenue.
FROM THE NORTH/US-51 SOUTH
Take US-51 South, which becomes Danny Thomas Boulevard. Continue south through downtown to Union Avenue. Turn right and follow Union Avenue to Front Street.
FROM MIDTOWN & EAST MEMPHIS
Follow Walnut Grove/Union Avenue west until it ends at Front Street.
FROM COLLIERVILLE & GERMANTOWN
Take TN-385 Bill Morris Parkway west to I-240, then follow I-240 toward downtown and take Exit 30 for Union Avenue. Head west on Union to Front Street.
