The lobby at Memphis Art Museum is designed to function as more than an entry point. Drawing on the model of a great hotel lobby, it serves simultaneously as a coffee shop, public meeting space, coworking environment, and the first room visitors encounter when they arrive.

Sitting above the main lobby, the mezzanine offers a coffee bar, additional seating, and an elevated view over the lobby and Central Courtyard below.

The rooftop at Memphis Art Museum features a sculpture garden and pavilion with sweeping views of the Mississippi River.
