Trained security staff are on-site during all museum hours, stationed throughout the galleries and public spaces. If you ever need assistance, directions, or help in an emergency, look for a team member or visit the Welcome Desk. Security can also be reached at [phone].

To keep everyone safe and protect the collection, all visitors and bags may be subject to a security check upon entry. We ask that large bags, backpacks, and oversized items be checked at the coat and bag check. Prohibited items include weapons of any kind, sharp objects, food and drink outside designated areas, and any item that could pose a risk to visitors or artwork. Our team will be glad to help you store anything that can't come into the galleries.

Please help us care for the collection by not touching the artwork, as the oils from our hands can cause lasting damage. Motion sensors are placed near each work and may sound if you step too close. Photography for personal use is welcome in most areas, but tripods, selfie sticks, and flash are not permitted in the galleries. Please follow any posted signage, as some special exhibitions have their own guidelines.

In the event of an emergency, remain calm and follow the direction of museum staff. Emergency exits are clearly marked throughout the building, and our team is trained to guide visitors to safety. First aid is available on-site; please notify any staff member if you or someone in your group needs medical attention.
