The Global Council brings together people across the country who share a connection to Memphis and want to support its future through Memphis Art Museum.
Members stay connected to the city, meet fellow supporters in their communities and help make possible the exhibitions and learning programs at the heart of the museum’s work.

Help Build What Comes Next
Memphis Art Museum opens its new Downtown home on Dec. 6, 2026, creating more room for exhibitions, learning and gathering along the Mississippi River.
In its new home, the museum expects to serve 30,000 school-aged children annually. Admission will always be free for Shelby County residents, ensuring that the museum remains accessible to the community it serves.
Global Council members support this next chapter while helping carry Memphis’ creative energy far beyond the city.
