Self-guided Tour

Prefer to move at your own pace? The museum is designed for it. All galleries sit on a single continuous level with no hierarchy and no wrong place to start, so groups can wander freely and regroup easily. Free spaces like Hyde Square Courtyard, Skyline Park, and the River Window give your group room to gather, rest, and take in the views between galleries. Self-guided groups receive a map and suggested routes to help you plan your time.

Memphis Art Museum offers fully ADA-accessible routes throughout, including one of the only accessible paths to the riverfront in downtown Memphis. All galleries sit on a single continuous level with no stairs between them, making the collection easy to navigate for groups of every mobility.
