Black Art!
As a historically white space in America’s largest Black city, the Memphis Art Museum has the unique privilege of highlighting our diverse community by acquiring and presenting art by Black artists, hosting collective events, and sparking important conversations.
Art Now
By introducing local artists to new audiences within and beyond our community, Memphis’ art museum aims to enrich the city’s collection through local art acquisitions. The Art Now Collective actively collaborates with the museum to provide a platform for emerging creatives and participate in programming and fundraising.
Couture Collective
The Couture Collective is a membership group at Memphis’ art museum dedicated to celebrating the art of fashion—and creating a vibrant community around it.
Pride Collective
The Pride Collective is an affinity group dedicated to ensuring that LGBTQIA2+ artists and audiences are represented and supported within and through Memphis' art museum.
National Council
The National Council is a leadership group at Memphis' art museum dedicated to supporting Memphis through the arts from anywhere in the country.
