The Creative Lab is Memphis Art Museum's drop-in art studio — open to the public whenever the museum is open.

Located adjacent to the classrooms and flowing directly from the gallery loop, the Creative Lab features a project bar, still-life stations, visual literacy activities, a book nook, and rotating art-making projects that change regularly. The building's continuous design means there is no hard stop between the galleries and the studio — visitors move naturally from looking at art to making it.
